Making dreams come true

Dreams do indeed come true, but not on their own. Desires are most certainly fulfilled, but not just by wishing. Dreams and desires provide the powerful energy necessary for achievement, and yet someone must focus and direct that energy. When it comes to your dreams, that is your job.
Go ahead, dream the biggest, most wonderful and personally meaningful dream you can imagine, and feel the intensity of your longing for it. Then, with your passion at full throttle, get busy making that dream a reality.
The joy of accomplishment is in the doing, and in feeling the dynamic strength of your own capabilities. What you truly seek is not to have, but to do, to create, to experience the feeling of being purposefully effective.
If you could have anything just by wishing, what would be the point, what would be the value? Fortunately, you have the opportunity to create great value precisely because your every wish does not instantly materialize.
You have the opportunity to give life to any dream by giving your effort, attention, focus and commitment to it. And by so doing, not only are you able to achieve the dream, you also give it real meaning.

Living inspiration

Certainly you can inspire others with your words. Yet you can inspire other people even more with the way you live. By skillfully arguing and presenting your beliefs, you can convince others to consider adopting those beliefs. Yet you can express those beliefs even more convincingly by consistently applying them to your life.
With what you say, you can get some attention. With what you do, again and again, you can build real and lasting credibility.
If you wish to lift others up, the first step is to bring your own life to a higher level. Then you can bring along as many other people as you wish.
It's not selfish to follow your own authentic dreams and to create a life for yourself that's the best you can imagine. For in doing so, you also create outstanding opportunities along the way to be of real, meaningful service to others.
Your life has unique and immense value. Share that value far and wide by living your dreams and making your life a true inspiration.

Smile at life

No matter what else you have or do not have, you have the beautiful experience of life. No matter what may have happened before, or what might come next, you have this moment. Now is when you can make it count. Now is when you are connected with unbounded opportunities to make a positive difference.
Don't waste your time complaining about what you lack or worrying about what you might lose. Invest the best of what you have in this moment to create new value.
If you choose to be annoyed or resentful, you'll only drag yourself down. Instead, challenge yourself to be more positive and effective than you've ever been, right now.
Smile at life, even when life has not smiled at you first. Be the first one to initiate goodness, and you'll be the first one to benefit from that goodness.
You are here, and there is nothing to fear. Count your blessings, and before you're finished counting you'll have even more.

Beginning Today

Beginning today I will no longer worry about yesterday. It is in the past and the past will never change.Only I can change by choosing to do so.
Beginning today I will no longer worry about tomorrow.Tomorrow will always be there, waiting for me to make the most of it.But I cannot make the most of tomorrow without first making the most of today.
Beginning today I will look in the mirror and I will see a person worthy of my respect and admiration. This person looking back at me is someone I enjoy spending time with and someone I would like to get to know better.
Beginning today I will cherish each moment of my life.I value this gift bestowed upon me in this world and I will unselfishly share this gift with others.I will use this gift to enhance the lives of others.
Beginning today I will take a moment to step off the beaten path and to revel in the mysteries I encounter.I will face challenges with courage and determination.I will overcome what barriers there may be which hinder my quest for growth and self-improvement.
Beginning today I will take life one day at a time, one step at a time.Discouragement will not be allowed to taint my self-image, my desire to succeed or my capacity to love.
Beginning today I will walk with renewed faith in human kindness.Regardless of what has gone before, I believe there is hope for a brighter and better future.
Beginning today I will open my mind and my heart.I will welcome new experiences. I will meet new people.I will not expect perfection from myself nor anyone else: perfection does not exist in an imperfect world. But I will applaud the attempt to overcome human shortcomings.
Beginning today I am responsible for my own happiness and
I will do things that make me happy. . .admire the beautiful wonders of nature, listen to my favorite music, pet a kitten or a puppy, soak in a bubble bath. . .pleasure can be found in the most simple of gestures.
Beginning today I will learn something new; I will try something different;I will savor all the various flavors life has to offer.I will change what I can and the rest I will let go.I will strive to become the best me I can possibly be.
Beginning today. And every day.

Something to think About

A great note for all to read it will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

"Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."

ANOTHER DAY

Another day is dawning
 another day's begun
another day to turn to God
and pray, "Thy will be done"

A day to slay doubt's dragon,
 to know within your soul
that as you give yourself to Him

He'll bless and make you whole. A day to live with purpose
a day to show you care
when others turn to you distraught
 confused or in despair

A day to share God's blessings
 in quiet countless ways
that touch the heart with hope and joy
 and brighten cloudy days

A day for sweet rejoicing
 for gratitude and praise
 because His love enfolds you
both now, and all your days.

A Place For Me

There is a special place in life, that needs my humble skill,A certain job I'm meant to do,which no one else can fulfill. The time will be demanding, the pay is not too good, and I wouldn't change itfor a moment, even if I could. There is a special place in life.A goal I must attain,a dream that I must followbecause I won't be back again. There is a mark that I must leave.however small it seems to be.A legacy of love for thosewho follow after me.There is a special place in life, that only I may share.A little path that bears my name, awaiting me somewhere. There is a hand that I must hold,a word that I must say,a smile that I must give, for there are tears to blow away. There is a special place in lifethat I was meant to fill.A sunny spot where flowers grow, upon a windy hill. There's always a tomorrow and thebest is yet to be, for somewherein this world, I know thereis a place for me.

GRACE

The boy stood with back arched, head cocked back and hands clenched defiantly.  "Go ahead, give it to me."
The principal looked down at the young rebel.  "How many times have you been here?"
The child sneered rebelliously, "Apparently not enough."
The principal gave the boy a strange look.  "And you have been punished each time have you not?"
"Yeah, I’ve been punished, if that's what you want to call it."  He threw out his small chest, "Go ahead I can take whatever you dish out.  I always have."
"And no thought of your punishment enters your head the next time you decide to break the rules does it?"
"Nope, I do whatever I want to do.  Ain't nothin you people gonna do to stop me either."
The principal looked over at the teacher who stood nearby.  "What did he do this time?"
"Fighting.  He took little Tommy and shoved his face into the sandbox."
The principal turned to look at the boy, "Why?  What did little Tommy do to you?"
"Nothin, I didn't like the way he was lookin at me, just like I don't like the way you’re lookin at me!  And if I thought I could do it, I'd shove your face into something."
The teacher stiffened and started to rise but a quick look from the principal stopped him.  He contemplated the child for a moment and then quietly said, "Today my young student, is the day you learn about grace."
"Grace?  Isn't that what you old people do before you sit down to eat? I don't need none of your stinkin grace."
"Oh, but you do."  The principal studied the young mans face and whispered.  "Oh yes, you truly do..."
The boy continued to glare as the principal continued, "Grace, in its short definition is unmerited favour. You cannot earn it; it is a gift and is always freely given.  It means that you will not be getting what you so richly deserve."
The boy looked puzzled.  "Your not gonna whup me? You just gonna let me
walk?"
The principal looked down at the unyielding child.  "Yes, I am going to let you walk."
The boy studied the face of the principal, "No punishment at all?  Even though I socked Tommy and shoved his face into the sandbox?"
"Oh, there has to be punishment.  What you did was wrong and there are always consequences to our actions.  There will be punishment.  Grace is not an excuse for doing wrong."
"I knew it," Sneered the boy as he held out his hands.  "Lets get on with it."
The principal nodded toward the teacher.  "Bring me the belt."  The teacher presented the belt to the principal.  He carefully folded it in two and then handed it back to the teacher.  He looked at the child and said.  "I want you to count the blows."
He slid out from behind his desk and walked over to stand directly in front of the young man.  He gently reached out and folded the child's outstretched, expectant hands together and then turned to face the teacher with his own hands outstretched.
One quiet word came forth from his mouth.  "Begin."  The belt whipped down on the outstretched hands of the principal.
Crack!  The young man jumped ten feet in the air.  Shock registered across his face, "One" he whispered.  Crack!  "Two."  His voice raised an octave.  Crack! "Three...” He couldn't believe this.  Crack! "Four."  Big tears welled up in the eyes of the rebel.  "OK stop! That's enough.  Stop!" Crack!  Came the belt down on the callused hands
of the principal.
Crack!  The child flinched with each blow, tears beginning to stream down his face.  Crack!  Crack!  "No please", the former rebel begged, "Stop, I did it, I'm the one who deserves it.  Stop!  Please.  Stop..." Still the blows came, Crack!  Crack!  One after another.
Finally it was over.
The principal stood with sweat glistening across his forehead and beads trickling down his face.  Slowly he knelt down. He studied the young man for a second and then his swollen hands reached out to cradle the face of the weeping child.

"Grace..."

No end to success by Jeff Rushton

No end to success by Jeff Rushton

LIFE – A MELODRAMA OF LABOUR

The melodrama of labour,
The menace of failure
The determination to achieve,
To make one believe
That success can be near,
Turns down the failure-fear
And a step you advance, success seems to cling
Give more thrust and advance, And you find yourself in success ring.

Success succumbs to the brave,
Cowards fear success break
Paradoxically the want is universal
Made by planned series of rehearsals.

How many can cut the joy of enjoying?
Or learn enjoying in the work?
How many can realize the joy is work?
And learn working without end?

Complacence succumbs to success,
But significant is its degree
So calls for success after success,
Ongoing till breath can be!

Falls to be without distress,
And success to be without rest
Just as Nature weaves the flowers,
Without heed to the whither-showers.

Success is all pervasive,
Success: light or massive
Success is sugar of life,
The sprout of Success is bright.

No onset, No end,
Success has in its blend
Image of one’s deity
And gratefulness for complacence.

This is the tale of life,
This is the consent of joy & spice
From a success in having breaths
To an all successful life!

24 Things To Always Remember

Your presence is a present to the world.
You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You will make it through whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Do not put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and you prize.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.
Do not take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot … goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life’s treasure are people together.

Realize that it is never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have hearth and hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a start.

AND DO NOT EVER FORGET ….
FOR EVEN A DAY
HOW VERY SPECIAL YOU ARE !

More Than A Mother

When God set the world in place,
when He hung the stars up in space,
when He made the land and the sea,
then He made you and me.
He sat back and saw all that was good,
He saw things to be as they should.
Just one more blessing He had in store;
He created a mother, but whatever for?
He knew a mother would have a special place
to shine His reflection on her child's face.
A mother will walk the extra mile
just to see her children smile.
She'll work her fingers to the bone
to make a house into a home.
A mother is there to teach and guide,
a mother will stay right by your side.
She'll be there through your pain and strife,
she'll stay constant in your life.
A mother will lend a helping hand
until you have the strength to stand.
She'll pick you up when you are down,
when you need a friend she'll stick around.
A mother is one who listens well,
will keep her word; will never tell.
A mother never pokes or pries
but stands quietly by your side,
giving you the strength you need,
encouraging you to succeed.
A mother is one who can be strong
when you need someone to lean on.
You're more than a mother to me;
a reflection of Him in your face I see,
a love that knows no boundaries.
I'm glad that you chose to be
all this and more to me.
You share a love that knows no end,
you're more than my mother,
you are my friend.

A love Story

"A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth. A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy…"

A LOVE STORY
One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Ah the beauty of God's creation is beyond description. As I watched, I praised God for His beautiful work. As I sat there, I felt the Lord's presence with me.
He asked me, "Do you love me?"
I answered, "Of course, God! You are my Lord and Saviour!"
Then He asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still love me?"
I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body and wondered how many things I wouldn't; be able to do, the things that I took for granted.
And I answered, "It would be tough Lord, but I would still love You."
Then the Lord said, "If you were blind, would you still love my creation?" How could I love something without being able to see it? Then I thought of all the blind people in the world and how many of them still loved God and His creation.

So I answered, "Its hard to think of it, but I would still love you."

The Lord then asked me, "If you were deaf, would you still listen to my word?" How could I listen to anything being deaf?

Then I understood. Listening to God's Word is not merely using our ears, but our hearts.

I answered, "It would be tough, but I would still listen to Your word."

The Lord then asked, "If you were mute, would you still praise My Name?"

How could I praise without a voice? Then it occurred to me: God wants us to sing from our very heart and soul. It never matters what we sound like. And praising God is not always with a song, but when we are persecuted, we give God praise with our words of thanks.

So I answered, "Though I could not physically sing, I would still praise Your Name."

And the Lord asked, "Do you really love Me?"

With courage and a strong conviction, I answered boldly, "Yes Lord! I love You because You are the one and true God!"

I thought I had answered well, but God asked, "THEN WHY DO YOU SIN?"

I answered, "Because I am only human. I am not perfect."

"THEN WHY IN TIMES OF PEACE DO YOU STRAY THE FURTHEST? WHY ONLY IN TIMES OF TROUBLE DO YOU PRAY THE EARNEST?"

No answers. Only tears.

The Lord continued: "Why only sing at fellowships and retreats? Why seek Me only in times of worship? Why ask things so selfishly? Why ask things so unfaithfully?"

The tears continued to roll down my cheeks.

"Why are you ashamed of Me? Why are you not spreading the good news? Why in times of persecution, you cry to others when I offer My shoulder to cry on? Why make excuses when I give you opportunities to serve in My Name?"

I tried to answer, but there was no answer to give.

"You are blessed with life. I made you not to throw this gift away. I have blessed you with talents to serve Me, but you continue to turn away. I have revealed My Word to you, but you do not gain in knowledge. I have spoken to you but your ears were closed. I have shown My blessings to you, but your eyes were turned away. I have sent you servants, but you sat idly by as they were pushed away. I have heard your prayers and I have answered them all."

DO YOU TRULY LOVE ME ?"

I could not answer. How could I? I was embarrassed beyond belief. I had no excuse. What could I say to this? My heart had cried out and the tears had flowed, I said, Please forgive me Lord. I am unworthy to be Your child."

The Lord answered, " That is My Grace, My child."

I asked, " Then why do you continue to forgive me? Why do You love me so?"

The Lord answered, "Because you are My creation. You are my child. I will never abandon you. When you cry, I will have compassion and cry with you. When you shout with joy, I will laugh with you. When you are down, I will encourage you. When you fall, I will raise you up. When you are tired, I will carry you. I will be with you till the end of days, and I will love you forever."

Never had I cried so hard before. How could I have been so cold? How could I have hurt God as I had done?

I asked God, "How much do You love me?"
The Lord stretched out His arms, and I saw His nail-pierced hands. I bowed down at the feet of Christ, my Saviour. And for the first time, I truly prayed.

LOVE: Where Success Begins

You may climb the ladder to success, but what keeps you from sliding right back down once you arrive? There is a powerful force that cannot be held captive by our thoughts, emotions, fears, or outside limitations; the one thing that builds a firm foundation that time and circumstance cannot erode. Without it, you are subject to great failings and a meager existence; with it, you experience unlimited possibility and unstoppable freedom. What is this force? Its name is LOVE!
The absolute best definition of love I have ever found is this, "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).
If you are thinking that's a pretty tall order, you would be right! But when God issues an order to love, He provides us with the means to do it; that means it is through his Son, Jesus Christ. When I accepted Jesus as my Savior, I learned He would help me love Him and others by expressing His love through me. I certainly can't do it on my own! No one can!
You are God's workmanship!
Once you make yourself available to love God and His ways, you have to learn to love yourself. Not with a self-centered or conceited type of love, but with a genuine love for who God created you to be. He made you and loves you; now you have an obligation to appreciate His handiwork!
Loving God and yourself provides a firm foundation that prepares you to love others and to achieve greatness. Love includes self discipline, taking personal responsibility for your life, and realizing you have a part to play in your success. Operating from the basis of love insulates you from selfish greed, immoral decisions, and the poison of unforgiveness.
One of the saddest things to observe is a person's rise to success and power followed by a tremendous fall. Often this is because the person's talent took him or her higher than the depth of their character could support. When a person has a shallow character, they do not have the firm foundation they need to stay at the top.
How should I show love to others?
I've established several habits that I use to show love for others in my personal and business life. By these principles I show respect, focus on people's strengths, and treat them like I would like to be treated.
·Noticing: Rather than rushing by, slow down and acknowledge the person near you, even if it's with a nod and a smile.
·Listening: Make a point to truly listen, not just talk. People will tell you amazing things if you take the time to listen.
·Asking questions: Ask questions that show you are listening and attentive; that what they are expressing is valuable to you.
·Discovering their interests: Become acquainted with what interests a person. I've actually ended up hiring people after I took the time to learn their interests.
The benefits of love
#1 - For our benefit: God is more interested in our personal growth and character development than He is in our ease and comfort. That's why we are called to love even those who have hurt or betrayed us. Not with a sloppy indulgent love, but with a love that believes for redemption and restoration to a healthier state of being.
God even promises to reward us for showing love through our actions: "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be the sons of the Most High"( Luke 6:35).
#2 - For others' benefit: When we show love for someone when they don't deserve our love or forgiveness, we plant a powerful seed. I've had numerous people become curious about my faith when they either experienced or observed my love in action. I was able to share about my Savior and the great sacrifice He paid for my own salvation and for theirs.
It is God's will that you love yourself and others by allowing His love to pour through you. In the end, love is simply part of your service to others. Love is not always returned, therefore be satisfied that you have been obedient and leave any rewards for that obedience to God.
As you climb your ladder of success in your personal and business life, take with you the one sure thing that is necessary to stay there…the one force that is more powerful than any other in the world; the source of unlimited possibility and unstoppable freedom. That force is LOVE!
Man cannot live without love. He remains a being that is incomprehensible for himself, his life is senseless, if love is not revealed to him, if he does not encounter love, if he does not experience it and make it his own, if he does not participate intimately in it.
-Pope John Paul II

WHAT DIRECTION ARE YOU GOING IN LIFE?

Are you going in the direction you had planned, or are you moving away from what you don't want in life? Make sure you know the difference by setting goals and sticking to them.
Today’s topic is “what direction are you going” – is it in the direction of where you wish to go due to a predetermined thought process? Or, are you just going in the direction away from what you don’t want in life? There’s a huge difference, pick the wrong choice and you are doomed to a life of mediocrity. If you say to yourself “I just want out of this crazy job!” every day, instead of actively working on a plan to make a different path for yourself, you are focusing on the wrong thing completely.
I know we all get off track now and again, but many people I speak with aren’t really focused in any specific direction most of the time. Why is that? Either they don’t have well-defined goals, or they become too caught up in the “minutia” of daily life, the problems, and the setbacks, and lose their focus. First, you must have specific goals that you want to either accomplish in the short term, or long term (hopefully both!). If you don’t have written goals, what path are you following to get where you want to go? This is so critical, if you don’t have a list of written goals I want you to stop reading this right now and go take 20 minutes to make one. Don’t worry, I’ll wait…
Ok, glad you got that accomplished! Ok, so now that you’re focused on what you want in life, you don’t have to worry at all about the other stuff, right? Well, not exactly. When things don’t work out the way we planned due to some unexpected result or event, we have the power to either acknowledge the situation and move on, or dwell on “why this crap always happens to me”. Say I’m working on a way to get myself a promotion at work, and things are looking pretty good. I have suggested some ways to save the company money, and even implemented some plan that will accomplish it with little overhead. The boss is happy, I’m looking good. Then the plan has a setback, unexpectedly, when it looks like it may cost more to implement than I planned. Do I give up? Of course not, I’m so close I can taste it. This is just a bump in the road, and I will just put my mind to work and figure out a way to do it for less.
You see we all have problems and setbacks, but how you deal with them is the difference between success and failure in life. If you have a direction that you know in your heart is what you want, nothing can stop you except you! Dealing with the little things is a piece of cake, right? You have to get to a point where they are all “little things”, because you are so focused on what you want that nothing even slows you down from reaching your goals. Don’t ever avoid problems, become a super-hero of problem solving! After you get good at facing and solving problems, your success is that much closer since you will have so much more time and energy to focus on your goals rather than on problems. That way you will spend the majority of your time chasing dreams, rather than running away from problems!

There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative." W. Clement Stoned

Imagine What May Have Taken Place On That Day

He placed one scoop of clay upon another until a form lay lifeless on the ground.
All of the Garden's inhabitants paused to witness the event. Hawks hovered. Giraffes stretched. Trees bowed. Butterflies paused on petals and watched.
"You will love me, nature," God said. "I made you that way. You will obey me, universe. For you were designed to do so. You will reflect my glory, skies, for that is how you were created. But this one will be like me. This one will be able to choose."
All were silent as the Creator reached into himself and removed something yet unseen. A seed. "it's called 'choice.' The seed of choice."
Creation stood in silence and gazed upon the lifeless form.
An angel spoke, "But what if he …"
"What if he chooses not to love?" the Creator finished. "Come, I will show you."
Unbound by today, God and the angel walked into the realm of tomorrow.
"There, see the fruit of the seed of choice, both the sweet and the bitter."
The angel gasped at what he saw. Spontaneous love. Voluntary devotion. Chosen tenderness. Never had he seen anything like these. He felt the love of the Adams. He heard the joy of Eve and her daughters. He saw the food and the burdens shared. He absorbed the kindness and marveled at the warmth.
"Heaven has never seen such beauty, my Lord. Truly, this is your greatest creation."
"Ah, but you've only seen the sweet. Now witness the bitter."
A stench enveloped the pair. The angel turned in horror and proclaimed, "What is it?"
The Creator spoke only one word: "Selfishness."
The angel stood speechless as they passed through centuries of repugnance. Never had he seen such filth. Rotten hearts. Ruptured promises. Forgotten loyalties. Children of the creation wandering blindly in lonely labyrinths.
"This is the result of choice? the angel asked.
"Yes."
"They will forget you?"
"Yes."
"They will reject you?"
"Yes."
They will never come back?
"Some will. Most won't."
"What will it take to make them listen?"
The Creator walked on in time, further and further into the future, until he stood by a tree. A tree that would be fashioned into a cradle. Even then he could smell the hay that would surround him.
With another step into the future, he paused before another tree. It stood alone, a stubborn ruler on a bald hill. The trunk was thick, and the wood was strong. Soon it would be cut. Soon it would be trimmed. Soon it would be mounted on the stony brow of another hill. And soon he would be hung on it.
He felt the wood rub against a back he did not yet wear.
"Will you go down there?" the angel asked.
"I will."
"Is there no other way?"
"There is not."
"Wouldn't it be easier to not plant the seed? Wouldn't it be easier to not give the choice?"
"It would," the Creator spoke slowly. "But to remove the choice is to remove the love."
He look around the hill and foresaw a scene. Three figures hung on three crosses. Arms spread. Heads fallen forward. They moaned with the wind.
Men clad in soldier's garb sat on the ground near the trio. They played games in the dirt and laughed.
Men clad in religion stood off to one side. They smiled. Arrogant, cocky. They had protected God, they thought by killing this false one.
Women clad in sorrow huddled at the foot of the hill. Speechless. Faces tear streaked. Eyes downward. One put her arm around another and tried to lead her away. She wouldn't leave. "I will stay," she said softly, "I will stay."
All heaven stood to fight. All nature rose to rescue. All eternity poised to protect. But the Creator gave no command.
"It must be done…," he said, and withdrew.
But as he stepped in time, he heard the cry that he would someday scream: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" He wrenched at tomorrow's agony.
The angel spoke again. "I would be less painful…"
The Creator interrupted softly. "But it wouldn't be love."
They stepped into the Garden again. The Maker looked earnestly at the clay creation. A monsoon of love swelled up within him. He had died for the creation before he had made him. God's form bent over the sculptured face and breathed. Dust stirred on the lips of the new one. The chest rose, cracking the red mud. The cheeks fleshened. A finger moved. And an eye opened.
But more incredible than the moving of the flesh was the stirring of the spirit. Those who could see the unseen gasped.
Perhaps it was the wind who said it first. Perhaps what the star saw that moment is what has made it blink ever since. Maybe it was left to an angel to whisper it:
"It looks like … it appears to so much like … it is him!"
The angel wasn't speaking of the face, the features, or the body. He was looking inside - at the soul.
"It's eternal!" gasped another.
Within the man, God has placed a divine seed. A seed of his self. The God of might had created earth's mightiest. The Creator had created, not a creature, but another creator. And the One who had chosen to love had created one who could love in return.
Now it's our choice.

Share Your Time

A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door. "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, sure, what is it?" replied the man.
"Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?
"That's none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.
"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.
"If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour."
"Oh," the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?"
The father was furious. "If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you're being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish games."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy's questioning. How dare him ask such questions only to get some money.
After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. "Are you asleep son?" he asked.
"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man. "It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.
"Why did you want more money if you already had some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?"
Share some time with those who need you.
They need our time more then we will ever know.

THE BRIDGE BUILDER

An old man, going a lone highway,
Came, at the evening, cold and gray,
To a chasm, vast, and deep, and wide,
Through which was flowing a sullen tide.
The old man crossed in the twilight dim;
The sullen stream had no fears for him;
But he turned, when safe on the other side,
And built a bridge to span the tide.
"Old man," said a fellow pilgrim, near,
"You are wasting strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day;
You never again must pass this way;
You have crossed the chasm, deep and wide-
Why build you a bridge at the eventide?"

The builder lifted his old gray head:
"Good friend, in the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today,
A youth, whose feet must pass this way.
This chasm, that has been naught to me,
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building the bridge for him."

THE THREE TREES

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty."
Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."
Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter" ... and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.
At the second tree a woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.
When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree so I'll take this one", and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark. The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.
Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time. Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.
Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best

COURAGE THAT CHANGES YOUR LIFE

"The scars you acquire while exercising courage will never make you feel inferior." -- D.A. Battista

"Courage is a special kind of knowledge: the knowledge of how to fear what ought to be feared and how not to fear what ought not to be feared." -- David Ben-Gurion
"Courage is fear that has said its prayers." -- Dorothy Bernard
Courage. It is a word that conjures up images of great and dramatic actions. And yet I realize that we all have the opportunity to be courageous every day, in small and large ways. And it is when we choose to be courageous that we change our lives and the lives of those around us.
Can you name anything of any significance that did not emanate from some sort of courageous decision? I can't. Think of the changes that we have experienced in the last few decades and trace them back to their initial decision. Chances are, someone exhibited courage.
So what is courage? It is simply acting on what we know we should do, regardless of any fear we may have. It is the choice to disregard worry. It is the choice to do right, to pursue our dreams, to be successful people, to lead the way for others.
Courage changes lives. Yes, it changes lives.
First, the day you begin to stare down your fears and worries, and instead act courageously, your life will change. You will be set free to fly like you never have before. You will accomplish things you once only dreamed of. You will experience things you thought were only for others - the courageous ones. You will realize that your fears were baseless and just paper tigers, a mirage. You will begin to live your dreams. You will become a person of character!
You will also change the lives of others. Simply put, courageous people pull others along with them. Everybody benefits from courageous people. I have a friend who I admire greatly. A little over a year ago he decided to leave a lucrative career and pursue a dream.
All obstacles were thrown his way. The day he left his company, he found out that his wife had cancer. He went into a great deal of debt to finance his dream. He raised millions of dollars, putting his name and reputation on the line. He acted courageously. A year later, he has over fifty employees and growing monthly. Those employees are reaping the benefit of his courage! And his wife, who beat cancer, is acting courageously with him!
Here are some quick tips for acting courageously:
- Know what you want. Courage is about choice. If you are to act courageously, you need to know what the right choice is. Be clear about your dream and vision.
- Do not worry. I heard recently that worry is the wrong use of the imagination. That is perhaps the best definition I have ever heard. Worry is just thinking about all of the bad possibilities, isn't it? Well, courage is just thinking about all the great possibilities and then acting upon them!
- Do your homework. It helps to get the facts. It helps because then you can make an informed decision that will put your heart and mind to rest. There will probably be a downside but we understand it, choose alternatives, and act decisively instead of those.
- Act. There is no substitute for the first step. Do you know what you want? Have you thought of the possibilities? Have you done your homework? The next step is to take the first step, and ACT!

Have a wonderful time

GOALS & HAPPINESS

What makes you happier than anything else you do? Where does real contentment come from?
If you understand and apply the following definition of happiness, you also open the door to unlimited success for yourself, your family and your group.
"Happiness could be defined as the emotion of progress toward desirable goals. There is an instant of contemplation of the last goal in which one is content. But contentment becomes boredom immediately that new goals do not come to view. There is no more unhappy thing than a man who has accomplished all his ends in life." — L. Ron Hubbard
Examine how three facts, from this definition of happiness, make happiness come and go in your life.
1. "There is an instant of contemplation of the last goal in which one is content."
Think of goals you have reached in the past. Remember how you felt on your wedding day or when you graduated from school or a training course? In each case, you achieved a goal!
Remember those times when you were content with life? Maybe when you started a business or landed a great job? When you paid off your debts?
At every point in your life when you felt content or happy, you can probably find you were either making progress toward a goal or had reached a goal
2. "But contentment becomes boredom immediately that new goals do not come to view."
Without a new goal, you get bored. Boredom leads to stress and misery. For example, planning a vacation is exciting. But toward the end of a vacation many people are bored to tears as they no longer have a goal.
Arguments during honeymoons are common if the newlyweds do not set goals for their marriage.
Planning your retirement and the first day of retirement is a thrill. But the joy of freedom quickly turns to boredom and early death if you do not work on new goals.
"There is no more unhappy thing than a man who has accomplished all his ends in life."
Think of a time you were very bored. Had you completed a major goal without starting a new one? Look at other times you were bored. Examine your goals, or lack of goals, at those times.
3. "Happiness could be defined as the emotion of progress toward desirable goals."
We can use this definition to understand unhappiness as well. When were you last unhappy?
In each case, you probably 1) had no goal, 2) were trying to reach an undesirable goal, or 3) you were making no progress toward a goal.
Using the definition of happiness makes happiness easy to achieve. Simply chose desirable goals and make progress toward them!
Exercises
The following steps will help you put this definition of happiness to use.
1. List goals you have not yet reached.
Small goals, large goals, old goals, failed goals and current goals. Make a very complete list.
2. Circle those goals that interest you the most.
Drop out the goals that do not excite you as you can’t reach a goal unless it interests you.
However, if an uninteresting goal is vital for you to reach, find ways to get excited about that goal. Examine the goal’s benefits. For example, maybe the goal to "Pay off all debts" does not thrill you until you examine the benefits: Save $5319 in interest this year, financial freedom, less anxiety.
If you cannot find any benefits of the goal, eliminate it.
3. Add new, desirable goals.
Push the envelope of your self limitations and set goals you really, really want. What are your greatest desires?
If you had unlimited time, money and support, what would your life be like? What would you do? What would you have?
If you knew you could accomplish ANYTHING, what would your goals be?
Add these goals to the list.
4. Line up your goals in a logical sequence.
The better your goals align with each other, the more likely you will reach them. For instance, if you have a goal to travel the world for six months this year and another goal to make more money this year than ever before, you might have problems.
However, if you line up your goals, your odds of success are better because your focus is constant. Example of aligned goals: "Finish my training program so I can double my productivity and income." "Help my husband lower our monthly debts so we can spend more time with the kids." "Delegate all of my sales activities to the sales manager so I can open a new office."
5. To complete the procedure and become happier, you now need to start making progress toward your goals.
Big steps or baby steps, any progress is progress.
Plan out next week. Plan out the month of January. Plan your best year ever.
Make a new habit of reviewing your goals each day to keep your attention and efforts aligned with your goals. At the start of each day, ask yourself: What can I do today to make progress toward my goals?
The more progress you make toward your most desired goals, the happier and more successful your new year will be!

THE INDISPENSABLE QUALITY

By Brian Tracy
DARE TO GO FORWARD
Winston Churchill once said, "Courage is rightly considered the foremost of the virtues because upon it, all others depend." Courage is the chief distinguishing characteristic of the true leader. It is almost always visible in the leader's words and actions. It is absolutely indispensable to success, happiness and the ability to motivate other people to be the best they can be.

FOLLOW THROUGH ON YOUR VISION
In a way, it is easy to develop a big vision for yourself and for the person you want to be. It is easy to commit yourself to living with complete integrity. But it requires incredible courage to follow through on your vision and on your commitments. You see, as soon as you set a high goal or standard for yourself, you will run into all kinds of difficulties and setbacks.

REFUSE TO COMPROMISE
You will be surrounded by temptations to compromise your values and your vision. You will feel an almost irresistible urge to "get along by going along." Your desire to earn the respect and cooperation of others can easily lead to the abandonment of your principles, and here is where courage comes in.

STICK TO YOUR PRINCIPLES
Courage combined with integrity is the foundation of character. The first form of courage is your ability to stick to your principles, to stand for what you believe in and to refuse to budge unless you feel right about the alternative. Courage is also the ability to step out in faith, to launch out into the unknown and then to face the inevitable doubt and uncertainty that accompany every new venture.

AVOID THE COMFORT ZONE
Most people are seduced by the lure of the comfort zone. This can be likened to going out of a warm house on a cold, windy morning. The average person, when he feels the storm swirling outside his comfort zone, rushes back inside where it's nice and warm. But not the true leader. The true leader has the courage to step away from the familiar and comfortable and to face the unknown with no guarantees of success. It is this ability to "boldly go where no man has gone before" that distinguishes you as a leader from the average person. This is the example that you must set if you are to rise above the average. It is this example that inspires and motivates other people to rise above their previous levels of accomplishment as well.

THE ATTACK OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT
Alexander the Great, the king of Macedonia, was one of the most superb leaders of all time. He became king at the age of 19, when his father, Philip II, was assassinated. In the next 11 years, he conquered much of the known world, leading his armies against numerically superior forces.

LEAD THE ACTION
Yet, when he was at the height of his power, the master of the known world, the greatest ruler in history to that date, he would still draw his sword at the beginning of a battle and lead his men forward into the conflict. He insisted on leading by example. Alexander felt that he could not ask his men to risk their lives unless he was willing to demonstrate by his actions that he had complete confidence in the outcome. The sight of Alexander charging forward so excited and motivated his soldiers that no force on earth could stand before them.

ACTION EXERCISES
Here are two things you can do immediately to put these ideas into action:

First, set big goals for yourself and force yourself out of the comfort zone by acting boldly - even when there is no guarantee of success. Go boldly where no one has ever gone before.

Second, resolve to act quickly and decisively when you are confronted with a difficult or dangerous situation. Dare to go forward. Practice audacity in all things.

Acting with courage builds your courage and confidence higher and higher.

Have a Wonderful time.

THE POWER TO CONTROL HOW PEOPLE TREAT YOU

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CONTROL HOW PEOPLE TREAT YOU . You can make people like you or hate you; respect you or criticize you; support you or chop you down.
You can also get people to trust you, support you and help you succeed.
The way you do this is outlined by L. Ron Hubbard in The Way to Happiness.
“Try to Treat Others as You Would Want Them to Treat You”
“Just figure out how you would want people to treat you.
“You would possibly, first of all, want to be treated justly: you wouldn't want people lying about you or falsely or harshly condemning you. Right?
“You would probably want your friends and companions to be loyal: you would not want them to betray you.”
“You would want people to be fair in their dealings with you.
“You would want them to be honest with you and not cheat you. Correct?
“You might want to be treated kindly and without cruelty.”
“You would probably prefer to be given respect, not insulted.
“Possibly you would want others to be polite to you and also treat you with dignity. Right?
“You might like people to admire you.
“When you did something for them you would possibly like people to appreciate you. Correct?
“You would probably like others to be friendly toward you.
“From some you might want love.
“And above all, you wouldn't want these people just pretending these things, you would want them to be quite real in their attitudes and to be acting with integrity*.”
“It requires no great stretch of imagination for one to recognize that if he were to be treated that way regularly by others around him, his life would exist on a pleasant level.” — L. Ron Hubbard (*integrity: honesty, truthfulness)
THREE STEPS TO GET PEOPLE TO TREAT YOU THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED
1. Make a list of each person you wish to influence: spouse, children, parents, employees, bosses, co-workers, colleagues and so on.
2. Next to each name, write how you want him or her to treat you.
3. Then write how you will treat that person, in that same way.
In some cases, you might be amazed at how quickly this works. In other cases, you may need to persist for a long time, so don't give up!
Have a Pleasant Moment.

YOUR UNLIMITED POTENTIAL

Question: What does the word "potentiality" mean?
Answer: The capacity for growth or improvement; a possibility; a power.
For example, if you sit on a box of dynamite, you are sitting on a potentiality. The dynamite isn't exploding . . . but it could.
Fact: You ARE sitting on a box of dynamite, and it's big!
"Your potentialities are a great deal better than anyone ever permitted you to believe." -- L. Ron Hubbard
Right now, you are capable of making improvements in your career, your finances and your life that are more significant and satisfying than anything you have ever done. You can potentially shatter your past achievement records, eliminate your worst problems and feel absolutely great. Everything you have done in the past becomes minor compared to what you can do in the future.
Most people have the wrong idea about success. They believe "you can only do so much," or "you just need to keep on trying" or "success takes time." Such thinking slows you down and limits your lifetime achievements.
Instead, simply take a new view of yourself, your habits and your thinking. And then ACT!
To make a significant, instant improvement in your career and life, you must jump out of your rut. Overcome your addiction to safe, conservative plans. Break out of old patterns and find new attitudes.
Don't settle for small improvements. Do something bold and exciting. Find a destination you passionately want and make it happen!

YOUR DESTINATION
When you plan a vacation, you don't start by examining the route. You start by choosing a destination. The route becomes obvious when you focus on the goal. And the bigger the destination, the more exciting the trip.
What is the most exciting destination you can imagine for yourself? What objective makes your heart pound? What goal lifts your mood?

These are your potentialities. These are your dreams. These are what you can believe in!
To get there, start by concentrating on the end result. Put yourself in the picture of your dreams. Create a vision of you reaching your goals.

Then act. Take a small step, a large step or a leap. Any progress will lead to more progress, as long as you remember to think of your ultimate success.

The time to start is now. Focus on a goal and light the fuse!

A Wonderful Day.

How Are You Predicting Your Success This Year?

Chris wondered, “What's going to happen to me? What does the future hold?”

He remembers his father saying, “All you can do is hope for the best.” So Chris hopes and hopes. “I hope I get paid more for my work. I hope people will be more grateful to me. I hope my investments will skyrocket so I can retire. I also hope I win the lottery.”

After a year of hoping, nothing changes for Chris.

While watching television, Chris hears someone say, “We must remember the past to prevent things from happening in the future.”

So he reviews his mistakes and vows not to repeat them. Another year passes, but still no improvement.

Chris searches the Internet and learns about fate. “The future is predetermined. It's out of your hands.”

He concludes, “No one knows what'll happen."

Like many people in this world, Chris is a spectator. He is waiting for something to happen.

TIME MACHINE

If you could look through a time machine and see 100 years into the future, what would you see?

If you see a space-age society with incredible computers, robots and space travel, you know the scientists, engineers and technology inventors are the most ambitious.

If society is wealthy and prosperity is available to all, you know the entrepreneurs, managers and business owners are the most ambitious.

If you see a world at war and people are getting killed every day, you know arms dealers, terrorists and war-loving politicians are the most ambitious.

To see the future of our world, just look for the most persistent, passionate and intense people and you see the future.

What fires up this powerful ambition in people? How can you make your own future?

ARE YOU A SPECTATOR OR A PLAYER?

“If a man can dream, if a man can have goals, he can be happy and he can be alive. If he has no goals he doesn't even have a future.”-- L. Ron Hubbard

To make your future, try asking yourself, “What should I make happen? What shall I accomplish? What do I WANT in my future?”

The future is like an empty field. No one is playing on it yet. You can run out there and start the game.

While people like Chris are sitting in the stands, you can go ahead and play the game of life.

THE GAME IS YOURS

Write one of your most important goals for 2010.

Ask yourself, “What future do I predict if I just sit on my hands and wait for this goal to be reached?”

Next, write down one step you can take, right now, toward this important goal.

Ask yourself, “If I do this one step and then another and then another, what is my future?”

And there you have it! You are predicting your future.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE LIFE'S ROADBLOCKS?

When you are stopped while trying to accomplish something, how do you respond? How do you handle the frustration?
For example, you want to be a professional piano player. You take piano lessons, practice for two hours every day and learn as many songs as possible. You play at a friend's wedding and feel ignored. You audition to play at your church services, but do not get selected. Your mother even says, “Maybe you should take up water colors.” What do you do?
Maybe you cry and feel sorry for yourself. “Boo-hoo! I feel so bad!”
Perhaps you blame others. “My teachers were so bad that I'll never succeed.”
Or maybe you blame yourself. “I'm such an idiot! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!”
Many people like to drown their sorrows. “To heck with it! I'm getting drunk.”
Some prefer depression or apathy. “Life isn't worth living. I'm going to watch TV all day.”
Finding excuses is popular. “My fingers were sore.” “The music is too old.” “People just don't appreciate fine piano playing.”
And of course, many people just give up. “I'm not going to play the stupid piano. In fact, piano players are losers.”
How do you handle life's roadblocks?

     INTENTION
 “Intention is like a landmark.”

“If you were traveling through unfamiliar country toward a snow-capped mountain, you would find that you sometimes took a wrong turn, but as long as you could see the mountain, you would make progress toward it. Sometimes obstacles would get in your way. Sometimes they would even hide the mountain from you. But there is one thing that would not happen. You would not forget to look for the mountain. You would know that you could not reach the mountain by forgetting its existence. You would laugh at the idea of forgetting to look for the mountain.” -- L. Ron Hubbard

For example, despite the obstacles, you would not lose sight of your goal to be a piano player. You would ignore the losses and stay focused on the goal. “I will become a fabulous pianist! I'm going to take 200 lessons and practice for four hours a day until I make it.”

Luckily, using intention is not difficult. Constantly looking for the mountain is easy. You just look! Your feet then follow your eyes.

As another example, you own a restaurant and have the goal of $10,000 profit per month. You figure out you will need 200 happy, satisfied customers per day to reach your goal. You keep this mountain in mind at all times.

One day, your chef calls and says, “I got a better job in New York and I'm leaving today. Good luck to you.”

You realize you'll be cooking a lot of food today and feel like closing the doors and going to a movie instead. Yet you look for your mountain. You see 200 happy customers. You intend to reach the goal.

You suddenly remember your mother is a great cook. She has been offering to help out, so you ask her to take over the kitchen for a few days. She agrees and doesn't even want any pay!

You run an ad and hire a new chef by the weekend. You continue hiking up the mountain.

   RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Write down your top three goals. If you do not have three top goals, write down three big things you really want.

2. Put these goals where you will see them several times each day. For example, a note taped on your car's dashboard. A note on your computer screen. A postcard in your shirt pocket. A sticker on the inside of your wallet. Anywhere you will constantly see the goal.

3. Every time you get stopped by life's roadblocks, do not get sad. Do not give up. Do not look for excuses. Instead, just look at your goals. Never forget to look for the mountain.

If you constantly look for the mountain, you will persist. You will work to reach it, day and night. You will find the time and energy it takes to reach the top.
No obstacle will be big enough nor strong enough to stop you.

Have a pleasant day. We shall meet at the top.
